Cale Wagner
Cale Wagner is a Master in City Planning (MCP) Candidate with a concentration in City Design and Development and certificate in Urban Design. At the intersection of urban planning, architecture, and landscape architecture, his work explores how integrated design strategies can transform cities to meet contemporary challenges of climate adaptation and urban transformation. His current research investigates Climate Driven Urbanism through the lens of Climate Migration, and he is also exploring population decline in villages across the Dolomites as a participant in the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale (Summer 2025). Prior to MIT, he worked as an Urban Designer, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from neighborhood-scale interventions to regional master plans. His approach emphasizes creative, systems-based solutions that balance development pressures with community needs, creating resilient, human-centered environments.
