Irina Golovitskaya

Doctoral Student

Doctoral student at the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning, with a research focus on postsocialist shrinking cities and their built environment. Before joining DUSP, worked as a Data and Evaluation Manager at the Northwest Center (Chicago), the Director of Outreach and Education at Wowhaus Urban Design and Architecture (Moscow), and as a curator of "Design of Public Spaces" at the Moscow School of Architecture, among others. 

Holds degrees from the University of Kentucky and Moscow State University.
