Chang Liu

Postdoc, Senseable City Lab

Dr. Chang Liu is a postdoctoral researcher at MIT. She completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. She uses AI and earth observation data (satellites, LiDAR/UAS, and GIS) to analyze natural disasters/hazards and track climate impacts on cities, coasts, and farms, including floods, wildfires, subsidence, heat, sea-level/surge, and crop stress. Her work turns data into clear tools for risk assessment, early warning, and recovery, helping agencies and communities make better decisions.

She is the lead guest editor of the Special Issue of Electronics "New Insights in 2D and 3D Object Detection and Semantic Segmentation". Welcome to submit your papers: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/electronics/special_issues/20N991827I

She is also a member of the editorial board of the newly founded journal of Urban and Building Science. We expect to publish high-quality papers: Urban and Building Science (UBS)-Scilight
