Veronica Colman joined SPURS/Humphrey in 2018, previously serving as the director of architecture and territorial regulation for the state of Soriano, Uruguay. There, she led the execution of projects ranging from landscaping to urban planning. Prior to serving as director, she served the state as coordinator of the architectural department, where she developed local plans for land use and sustainable development. She has a degree in architecture from the Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay. At MIT, she studied urban design with a particular focus on urban housing policies, environmental concerns, and development financing.
