Valdet Tairi joined SPURS/Humphrey from his role as a senior urban planner in the Municipality of Gostivar; his work focuses on urban growth, construction legality, and infrastructure development. He is also a visiting lecturer for urban design at the University American College Skopje. He previously worked at a spatial planning agency in Skopje and participated in various governmental projects. He has a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Architecture City and Regional Planning at the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. He also studied for a master’s of urban planning and design at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
