Luis Fernando Couto joined SPURS from his post as a professor of macroeconomics and economic growth at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he received his undergraduate and master’s degrees in economics. He also serves as president of a nongovernmental organization that works to improve education in underdeveloped neighborhoods.
