Otto Thomaz is an economic researcher and consultant. He has participated in projects funded by national and international organizations in fiscal governance, macroeconomic risk and climate risk assessment. He is an advisor to the National Federal Fiscal Council of Argentina and Associate Professor and Researcher of Buenos Aires University. At MIT, he explored methodologies to value the economic impact of climate risk in cities and regional development. He worked on the design of a Socio-Economic Climate Change Vulnerability Index. Otto holds a MBA and PhD from Buenos Aires University
