David Gomez-Alvarez joined SPURS with over 20 years of professional experience in government results performance management. He has held high level positions in Mexico’s public sector, actively participating in civic initiatives. He holds a PhD/MPhil in public administration from NYU, an MSc in public policy from London School of Economics and is currently an academic at Guadalajara University. At MIT, he co-chaired MIT Metro Lab, and co-edited a UN-Habitat publication on metropolitan governance.
