Chynarkan Saparova

Chynarkan Saparova joined SPURS in 2018 from Kyrgyzstan, where she worked in the community development sector for more than 10 years. One project implemented under her leadership involved introducing geographic information systems (GIS) for better utility service in rural Kyrgyzstan. She has two postgraduate degrees: a master’s degree in nongovernmental organization management from the Academy of Management (under the president of the Kyrgyz Republic), and an executive master's in development policies and practices from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. At MIT, she explored GIS accessibility for urban municipalities in developing countries.
