Alka Palrecha Rawal joined the SPURS/Humphrey program from a role as director of the People in Centre Consulting, which provides consulting services for developmental programs. She holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She has been involved for more than 20 years in community development with a focus on water resource management. She is currently interested in policies and institutional processes for the safe reuse of urban wastewater for agriculture in peri-urban India. Through the Humphrey Program, she worked on safe reuse of wastewater for irrigation.
