Virginia works on informal settlement assistance at the intersection of anthropologically informed design and policy advocacy. Previously, she worked as a 2023-2024 Fulbright Scholar on informal settlement research in Istanbul, Türkiye. She also worked as a civil servant on the U.S. Treasury Department's International Affairs team, where she shaped U.S. public policy on International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank development projects in the Caribbean. She also served as the U.S. Treasury Representative to the U.S. Embassy in Port au Prince. She holds a B.A. in International Studies.
