Sydney Neugebauer

MCP Student

Sydney is a Master of City Planning student in DUSP. Her interests center on sustainable mobility as a way to move towards climate mitigation, enhanced public health, transport equity, and community building.

 

Sydney grew up in Dripping Springs, TX. She earned Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Environmental Science from Boston University. Before attending MIT, she worked at NASA’s Earth Science Division. She supported the Capacity Building Program, which ensures that individuals and institutions have the resources they need to utilize remote sensing data for decision making. She was awarded the  Early Career Achievement Medal at the 2022 Agency Honor Awards, NASA's highest form of recognition.
