Olivia Lovett

MCP Student

Olivia is a second-year Master of City Planning student within the Department of Urban Studies and Planning. While her coursework has largely centered on housing, community, and economic development, she is specifically interested in how public policy and public financing tools can be creatively used to promote inclusive & equitable growth. Alongside her studies, she is currently working for Rutala Associates, a South Jersey-based planning firm, where she has worked on Master Plan Re-Examination Reports to guide development and planning priorities in multiple shore towns.

During her undergraduate degree, Olivia worked for multiple community non-profit organizations in Atlantic City, NJ, where she led an after-school tutoring program, ran a Naturalization class to prepare community members for their citizenship exams, and made ArcGIS StoryMaps to promote arts events & exhibitions across the city. Olivia received her B.S. in Sustainability, with a focus on policy, from Stockton University.
