Marine Gapihan
Marine Gapihan is a Master in City Planning student at DUSP, specializing in environmental planning and geospatial data analysis.
Marine's professional experience bridges climate mitigation and adaptation policy. She has worked on climate heat resilience planning with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and contributed to climate vulnerability assessments with the Environmental Defense Fund. Passionate about clean energy, Marine has also worked as a solar project coordinator in New York City, co-authored a report on nuclear waste management with Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy, and supported governmental affairs at the Nuclear Energy Institute in Washington, D.C.
She also serves as the Research Deputy Director at Climate Cardinals, a global non-profit that strengthens community resilience to climate change through language access and youth empowerment.
Marine holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sustainable Development from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
