Allie Larman

MCP Student

Allie Larman (she/her) is a second-year Master in City Planning student at MIT concentrating in Environmental Policy and Planning. She is dedicated to working alongside residents to build climate resilient communities, with a focus on land use planning in rural and wildland-urban interface regions.

Before coming to MIT, Allie was an Associate Planner at the California Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation, where she led the development of the Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Grant Program. Her background is in grantmaking, land use advocacy, and extreme heat resilience planning. She holds a B.S. in Community and Regional Development from UC Davis.
