Ning Zhu

Ning Zhu is an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University, China, where they specialize in the foundations of architectural design and professional training. 

Zhu holds a BSc and a PhD in Architecture from Tsinghua University.

During the fellowship year, Zhu aims to deepen the relationship with various design and research teams from the MIT Department of Architecture and Media Lab , building on long-term cooperation in design education, teaching research, and experimental tools between Tsinghua University and MIT. Based on their current field of teaching, Zhu will focus on expanding in both the "virtual" (e.g., interactive projector, VR, etc.) and "real" (e.g., material and craft design, etc.) aspects.
