Mamu Hage
Mamu Hage is a dedicated civil servant and District Deputy Commissioner based in Arunachal Pradesh, India. Hage specializes in policymaking and effective governance as Deputy Commissioner of the West Siang District, under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Hage previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of North Goa District under the Government of Goa. Concurrently, Hage acted as the Managing Director & CEO of the Panaji Smart City Mission, a special purpose vehicle under the Government of India's Smart Cities Mission, which included the tasks of planning and execution of urban infrastructure projects aimed at improving livability, sustainability, and digital governance in Panaji City.
Hage holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Hons), Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and an M.A. in Applied Psychology, South Campus, Delhi University.
At MIT, Hage aims to focus on the development of smart and sustainable cities, exploring best practices from other countries that can be adapted to India’s context, while also gaining insights through cultural exchange.
