Ari Suratmiari holds a Masters in economic development and is working in the local government of Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, in the division of asset utilization of the Financial Department. She has six years of experience in the local government’s department of planning. She has always been interested in planning, especially from the government's policy perspective, and in how to encourage citizen participation in the process of development planning.
