Gail Loraine Kromoredjo

Gail Lorraine Kromoredjo joined SPURS/Humphrey from her role as an electrical engineer at NV EnergieBedrijven Suriname and lecturer at the PolyTechnic College Suriname. She is responsible for operating the power system, and upgrading critical electrical infrastructure and grid expansions. At MIT, she focused on urban and rural energy delivery systems and policies, with the aim of devising sustainable energy strategies for Suriname’s remote interior areas and developing recommendations for modernizing the urban grid. She has a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Marta Abreu, Cuba.
