DUSP Practicum Makes Recommendations to Housing New Mexico on Land Banks

Graduate students in MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning developed a new report outlining how a state-run land bank could help address New Mexico’s housing shortage, offering policy strategies to reduce vacant properties and support affordable housing development. 

This work was produced by students in a Fall 2025 housing practicum course, highlighting their research and collaboration in support of Housing New Mexico.
