WORKSHOP 2 (04/24 | 5:30pm - 7:30pm EST): FAITH, RELIGION, SPIRITUALITY IN PLANNING PRACTICE
Goal: Explore notions of faith, spirituality, religion and democracy, and their intersections in planning and democratic practice. Topics can range from faith-based communities and planning advocacy/care delivery, indigenous knowledge/planning practice, religious organizations and land use/zoning decisions, and planning in spaces of religious conflict.
Format:
- Workshops are designed to be in-person; a virtual option will not be available
- Lunch will be provided
- Each workshop will bring together 2-3 faculty, staff members, and/or students to discuss the topic and facilitate a group discussion or activity
- Whether you attended one or all of the workshops, your presence and insights are valued
- Participants will be provided with clips from We Who Engage's upcoming podcast season centered on Faith, Religion, and Spirituality
- For each workshop, we highly encourage making a commitment for a full session
