Zhengxu Zhou

Associate Professor at Tsinghua University School of Architecture. As a teacher and researcher of Settlements Study, Planning & Design, has led a survey of over 300 vernacular villages in southwestern China (2014-2023) and led a conservation and renewal project for a traditional Buyi Mountain Village (2016-2023). 

Holds Ph.D. in Urban and Rural Planning from Tsinghua University and Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University.

Goals at MIT include learning, communication, and connecting to the global network of research for inclusive and sustainable vernacular communities.
