Deputy Director (Urban Planning) for Project Management Unit, Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program, Local Government and Community Development Department, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Provides operational and technical support, coordinates with District and City Administrations, liaises with key project stakeholders on activities related with urban planning to develop land use focused city comprehensive plans, urban mobility plans, and solid waste management plans of Sahiwal and Sialkot cities. Previously worked as an engineer at MM Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. and was part of the design and planning team for master planning of water supply, sewerage and drainage system for WASA Lahore and two foreign funded projects of AIIB and World Bank.

 

Hold a MS in Urban and Regional Planning, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan; and B.Sc in Architectural Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore.

 

Professional goals while at MIT include advanced learning and technical solutions for mitigation, adaptation & resilience against climate change including understanding of policies & strategies for urban energy systems, sustainable communities, urban development and infrastructure design of cities.
