At MIT, Yuvshanov researched smart urban and infrastructure planning methodologies in desert areas, focusing on key issues like mitigating dune congestion, improving energy generation and water treatment, preventing floods and loss of open space, reducing impacts of extreme heat, and addressing mobility problems.
