Victoria Avis
Victoria Avis is a Master in City Planning Candidate at MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP). Her multidisciplinary research explores international development, political theory, and urban planning in Global South contexts. She is a critical thinker and strategic leader with a particular interest in the intersections of urbanization, international development, climate adaptation, and conflict resolution. At DUSP, Victoria is a member of the International Development Program Group. Before joining DUSP, Victoria worked in the Bureau for Africa at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
