Noura Abdi Farah

Director of Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Health, Djibouti, where she facilitates coordination with development partners including international agencies and diplomatic missions, to implement the national health strategy. Has worked for more than 10 years on issues related to environment, urban, health and development. Prior to her current position at the Ministry of Health, worked for the World Bank on urban resilience and disaster risk management projects in Djibouti.

 

Holds a Master's degree in Environment and Planning from University of Lorraine, France.

 

At MIT, would like to further develop professional skills in her areas of interest with a broader perspective, and focus on fragility, conflict and violence that pose a serious development challenge.
