In the past four years the MIT Center for Real Estate (MIT CRE), under the directorship of Professor Albert Siaz, has experienced impactful and positive growth. MIT CRE 2014-2018: Rising to New Heights, Cementing the Future, is a comprehensive overview of the continuing work and achievements of the staff and faculty of MIT CRE. Rising to New Heights includes detailed accounts of new student fellowships; increasing diversity across the student body; the establishment of the World Real Estate Forum (WREF) - an annual event hosted and organized by the MIT CRE, which recently drew over 480 attendees; a successful professional education program; and a thriving research environment - with four research labs and a large number of ongoing sponsored research.
