Hack the City: Applied Data Science for Public Good

This IAP workshop introduces computational thinking and data science practice related to cities. Lectures include principles, techniques, and real-world applications of data science for urban problem-solving. Through hands-on tutorials, students build mini projects with fun data sources, create playful visualization, and formulate applied data science questions for public good. Final hacking projects are completed as individuals or teams, judged by a panel of Urban Science faculty.
