Participatory Action Research (PAR) 2

Students must complete 11.236 in order to register for 11.237.

This course builds on Participatory Action Research (PAR) 1. It covers making meaning from data collaboratively with communities, focusing on collaborative data analysis,  and using data to inform action, including: influencing the public conversation; local action planning; policy; advocacy. We will also cover operational considerations for establishing and managing PAR projects, including questions around funding, staffing, administration and IRBs, contracts, and other practical details.
