Entrepreneurship in the Built Environment

This course is designed to prepare you with the skillset, and mindset, of an entrepreneur. You may be planning to start a new venture now, or might only embark on an entrepreneurial journey in years to come, but there is a high likelihood that you will be part of an innovative process that will require the design-based thinking, leadership and curiosity that entrepreneurs possess.

In this course students will create new venture proposals for the built environment as a method to understand the role of the entrepreneur in the fields of design, planning, real estate and other related industries.

The coursework will include the development of a core business model as well as in-depth exercises to understand your role as an entrepreneur.
