City to City: Comparing, Researching and Writing about Cities

Introduces students to the non-profit sector through the lens of disasters – natural, economic, and international.  Cases focus on nonprofit responses to hurricane, earthquake, fire, and floods. Students learn about the limits of government and businesses at many levels and the importance of the third-sector – nonprofits.  We use real client nonprofit dilemmas and  interview nonprofit CEOs, accountants, auditors, lawyers and beneficiaries.
