Nimfa is the Assistant Director of the SPURS Program. She has worked in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT for many years. A native of the Philippines, she applies her first hand experiences in developing countries to foster bonds with the international community and brings energy and compassion to the SPURS Program. She manages the day to day activities of the program. She received the 2006 MIT Infinite Mile Award for her high standard of performance and sustained contribution to DUSP and MIT. Nimfa continues to act as an invaluable resource to students and as ambassador of the altruistic ideals on which SPURS program was founded. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from St. Paul College, Manila, Philippines.
