The application deadline is January 3rd. Students are accepted for September admission only. It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit all forms and supporting materials by the application deadline.

For an application to be considered, the following materials must be submitted:
- A completed Graduate Application for Admission
Included in the application:
- Record of Courses
- Statement of Objectives
- Financial Statement
- Official transcripts from the registrar of each undergraduate and graduate college or university you attended.
- Official GRE scores
- Official TOEFL or IELTS scores (required for all applicants whose native language is not English, regardless if you have attended school in the United States)
- A separate hard copy of your Statement of Objectives mailed directly to the Department. Please include your name, program group, and the degree that you are applying for on the first page
- A resume or CV mailed directly to the Department
- Three letters of recommendation from teachers, professionals, and/or others who know the applicant's work
- A non-refundable application fee of $75
Open House
The Department holds an Open House for prospective students each Fall. (This year's Open House has already passed.) We also hold an Open House in April that is strictly for admitted students.
