CDD

City Design and Development (CDD) is concerned with shaping the built and natural environment of cities and regions. It aims at providing surroundings that are healthy, stimulating, and sustainable for the generations that will use them.

Graduates who specialize in City Design and Development work in a variety of private, public, and nonprofit roles: as urban designers, developers, municipal and regional planners, managers of public programs to improve the environment, advocates of historic preservation and public art, and designers of urban infrastructure.
