The Ethical Dimensions of Climate Negotiation

At this year's United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP23), MIT community members from across the institute joined delegates from around the world to share ideas and strategies to accelerate progress toward the goal of a 2015 Paris Agreement.

One of these participants was DUSP's Bruno Verdini, who expanded on ideas in his bestselling new book, Winning Together: The Natural Resource Negotiation Playbook (MIT Press, 2017) to illustrate the importance of implementing facilitative collaboration between stakeholders with different values and interests to proactively reduce climate risks.
