Ellen Rushman awarded a 2017 Infinite Mile Award

On Thursday, May 11th, Ellen Rushman, DUSP's Academic Programs Coordinator, received one of three 2017 Infinite Mile Awards.

Amongst the many glowing comments about Ellen at the award ceremony, a clear theme emerged. That theme is her dedication to go above and beyond in creating a caring and supportive community for the students, faculty, and staff at DUSP, which Ellen does without the need for acknowledgement or praise.

The Infinite Mile Award is given to individuals--or teams--whose contributions are particularly valuable to advancing the School of Architecture and Planning's core mission of producing first-rate, innovative research, scholarship and teaching. Nominations should specify the nature of the contribution; describe its relevance and value to the core mission, and say why it should be regarded as especially meritorious.

The other recipients of the SA+P Infinite Mile Award included John F. Kennedy from the MIT Center for Real Estate and Amanda Stoll from the MIT Media Lab. Please join us in congratulating all three winners on very well deserved recognition for all their dedication and effort on behalf of the MIT School of Architecture + Planning.
