This event explores the practice and processes of engaging with alternative development frameworks and strategies in Latin America. The first half of the event features speakers who will share their experiences engaging with community-led planning processes in informal districts of Medellin, Colombia, and developing participatory human-scale evaulation metrics for entrepreneurship initiatives in Valdivia, Chile.
The second half of this event is a reflective practice workshop designed to encourage cross-institutional dialogue about the questions, challenges, and outcomes of alternative development and university-community collaborations.
This event is open to the entire DUSP community. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by May 5 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Talks will take place in English and the workshop component will take place in a combination of Spanish and English.
