Shomon Shamsuddin is a postdoctoral research fellow in the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning. His research focuses on innovative ways that social policy can reduce income inequality. His current work examines the economics of education and affordable housing policy. He has taught courses in all four DUSP program groups and the MCP core curriculum. He received a Sc.B. degree from Brown University, a M. Arch degree from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in Urban Policy and Planning from MIT.
