Amy Plovnick, (MCP ’16) explores the way U.S. coastal cities are measuring their adaptation planning progress. While some cities have formulated plans to address climate change, implementation of these plans has been slow to follow. Cities need workable indicators they can use to track the implementation and effectiveness of their adaptation planning efforts. This turns out to be difficult.
