Governing Climate Change at the Local Level: Results of the Urban Climate Change Governance Survey

The Urban Climate Change Governance Survey (UCGS) brings together the insights and experiences of

350 cities from around the globe. The UCGS covers both the "what" and the "how" of local action on climate change. Capturing key information on cities' climate plans, targets, and projects, it provides the most up-to-date portrait of urban responses to climate change. It is also the first to explore in detail how local government, civil-society, and private sector actors come together to move local climate change initiatives forward.

The full report will be launched at the end of May. Come out for a preview of the key findings, an overview of the challenges of doing survey based research on these issues, and a discussion of other ways in which the data could be analyzed to to yield interesting results.
