CLAIRE WEISZ, FAIA is a founding principal of WXY architecture + urban design.

WXY???s architecture and planning work for cities and with communities, is centered around the art of re-imagining infrastructure. The studios??? award winning work has been published broadly and been recognized for its architectural approach to the infrastructure of place. In addition to design awards from the AIA, ASLA and APA they received the League Prize and Emerging Voices from the Architectural League of New York. Claire co-founded The Design Trust for Public Space. She has taught at New York University???s Wagner School of Public Service and served as visiting critic of Urban Design at Cornell???s College of Architecture, Art and Planning in NYC. She is currently serving as 2017 Portman Visiting Critic at Georgia Tech School of Architecture. She received her professional degree from The University of Toronto with honors and her Master???s in Architecture from Yale University.
